Prophet Dhul-Kifl ﷺ is mentioned briefly in the Quran alongside Ismā'īl ﷺ and Idrīs ﷺ as being among the patient and righteous. His name means "Owner of the Portion/Double Portion" — possibly referring to a doubled reward or a covenant he undertook.
Many scholars link him with the Prophet Alyasa' or identify him as a prophet who pledged to fast every day, pray every night, and never make a judgement in anger — and fulfilled this pledge perfectly. He is celebrated for extraordinary patience and steadfast worship.
