Every hadith lesson on this path follows the same five steps. Use them for any hadith you study.
- Read. Read the English, then switch to the Arabic and read or listen to it, even if you are still learning Arabic.
- Understand. Who narrated it? What is being commanded, forbidden or described? Which book is it from?
- Reflect. Where does this touch your own day? Note it down: each hadith page has a private notes box.
- Memorise. Start with the Arabic of the Prophet's own words. Mark the hadith as memorised and the site will bring it back for revision.
- Act. Choose one concrete thing to do this week because of this hadith.
